Philosophy
Justine's training philosophy is based on the tried and true German training scale, taking time to develop both horse and rider methodically and correctly.
She begins with structuring a solid basic foundation of physical devlopment and understanding of the aids for the horse; balance, lightness and sensitivity of the rider.
Her belief is that in riding dressage, if you can't see it (in your mind) you can't replicate it. Taking time to thoroughly explain the hows and whys in a calm and insightful manner is one of her attributes.
"I've found that there are many different types of riders. Some are born with a natural talent, many are not and have to work hard to develop their skills.
I come from the latter group, which I believe gives me an advantage in the teaching arena.
Let me share what I've learned with you."
